NIHILISTIC
EMBALMING THEATRE is a nice Goregrind band along the lines of old GENERAL SURGERY with an old DEAD INFECTION obscure fell in the low wicked vocals and in some blasts (Point the "Surgical disembowelment" or some Dead Infectious Eps with your scalpel!). I may point touches of old NECRONY or very old CRACASS, but EMBALMING THEATRE is less disjoncted and aggressive. Quite cool tracks that are enough bizarre, gory and pathologically energical! There are some nice bowel splashing vocals anally introduced here and there.
They own some nice tracks' titles "Catapult for steaming cadavers" or "Monotonous copulation machine". Nothing marvelous, but it's a nice band for fans of real old school Goregrind! (There's no stupid shitcore induced stuffs here!)
I now have to spread a few lines about UNHOLY GRAVE. I ever met their music on a split tape few years ago. Nothing seems to have changed. They still play Crust Grind with slower Hardcore punk/ Death like parts. May sound like old NYCTOPHOBIC, old AGATHOCLES, EXTREME NOISE TERROR (for the Crust). They're tight. But nothing special. It lacks of severe Grinding energy, ultimate stress explosions and catchy parts. Average/ Very average.

Campaign For Musical Destruction
Wie bereits auf der Split 7" mit AG zeigen EMBALMING THEATRE hier erneut, daß man auch in der Schweiz weiß, wie Death und Grind buchstabiert werden. In den 4 Songs (+ Intro und Outro) beschäftigt man sich mal rasend schnell und mal eher "besinnlich" mit den Abgründen der menschlichen Existenz. Zu UNHOLY GRAVE muß man eigentlich nix mehr sagen. Japanischer Grind, der nicht mehr aus den Hirnwindungen verschwinden will. Das ist auch auf den 4 hier dargebotenen Songs der Fall. Zudem schaffen es UG dank Takaho`s einzigartiger Stimme immer wieder ein Lächeln in mein Gesicht zu zaubern. Allein dafür: Daumen nach oben. Kaufen!

review: Ok, i'm not the most suited person for reviewing this ep (more specific thes band, being unholy grave) just for one certain reason:i adore them! Nothing new this time, just simple straight ahead grind core with a groove. It sounds dirty and raw, but at the same time so beautiful. Lyrics deal with nazi-power, the kkk and terrorism. These japanese grinders really have something to say. Not like embalming theatre, that walks the path of gore (oh, how poetic). Music is a bit boring (more variation in voices would be great) but still kicks some fat-ass! Did i already mention the nice blue-coloured vinyl? No reason left to not buy it!!!

Eye Witness
Shit, shit, shit! Dieser Spruch von wegen daß das eiserne Gesetz des Eye Witness niemals gebrochen werden darf, war einfach ein stinknormaler Witz; nichts weiter!! Die Typen von UNHOLY GRAVE scheinen das allerdings für bare Münze genommen zu haben und haben mir deswegen wohl mit der EMBALMING THEATRE / UNHOLY GRAVE Split 7" ihre bereits 33. (!!!!!) Platten serviert. Hey Schwestern, das mit dem "eisernen Gesetz" es war doch nur ein verfickter Scherz!! Anyway, mal zu Platte! EMBALMING THEATRE möbeln sich sechsmal durch ultraschnellen, brachialen Grindcore mit äquivalenten, low guttural Gesängen, die tief aus dem Mastdarm kommen. Das ist definitiv wirklich qualitativ hochwertig, brutaler Stoff vom Feinsten, so fuck off!! Es gibt wirklich nichts mehr das ich zu den japanischen Grabschändern von UNHOLY GRAVE noch schreiben könnte, was ich in den letzten vier oder fünf Jahren nicht schon geschrieben hätte, also bemerke ich nur noch kurz, daß das unheilige Grab hier vier ihrer typischen ultraschnellen Grinder mit den ebenso typischen sick as all fuck Vokills losläßt, aber das dürfte für einen echten UNHOLY GRAVE Anbeter eh ausreichen um diese Split 7", die im Übrigen auf schlappe 400 Kopien (durchnumeriert) limitiert ist, zu jagen! Ich persönlich mag diesen Mist immer noch wirklich gerne leiden!!
