All
you need is gore
It's been a while I did not listened to PULMONARY FIBROSIS, and actually
I'm not sure I listened to any of their stuffs since their first album
"Organ Maggots", released back in 2007! Five new tracks of nice
Goregrind with putrid Death touches in it, PULMONARY FIBROSIS still play
the same kind of good musick, in the vein of early LAST DAYS OF HUMANITY
and DEAD INFECTION with CARCASS touches inside! Basic but really efficient
stuffs, with massive riffs and solid drums, as usual, deep growls, probably
the only difference with "Organ Maggots", as the new singer
is more into low and guttural stuffs, and it's ok with the whole sound!
Once again with PULMONARY FIBROSIS there is a cover song, and for this
time this is a NASUM cover. Unfortunately I'm not so much into NASUM so
I can't tell you anything about it... but it sounds good! Very good material
from PULMONARY FIBROSIS, and I'm happy to listen to them again! I should
try to get their new full length as soon as possible!!
B-side is EMBALMING THEATRE. Such as PULMONARY FIBROSIS, it seems that
I did not listen to new stuffs from this band for years!! And it was also
in 2007, with their split CD shared with HACKSAW SURGERY! It's a pity,
because in fact I usually like what this band plays, but I don't know
why I did not try to get the records released since. Well, 4 new tracks
from the band, still inspired by morbid actual facts from the everyday
life, and still about Brutal Death Grind! Heavy and almost melodic riffs,
with a Death Metal mood, melted with Grinding beats and guttural vocals.
NAPALM DEATH from 90's and TERRORIZER meeting MORTICIAN. This is how I
could qualify EMBALMING THEATRE. This is brutal and catchy, but unfortunately
too short!! These four tracks aren't enough, and I gonna try to get their
last album in my hands!
At last, two great bands gathered on one nice EP, released
by a young label I never heard about before! BUY OR DIE!!
