Stomablast back to Interviews

- What are your musical inspirations?
There are a lot, but mainly of course all those old Grind- and Hardcore-Legends like: Repulsion, Carcass, Napalm Death, S. O. B., G-Anx, Extreme Noise Terror, Filthy Christians, Doom, etc. etc. Also some Punk and Crustcore bands, well, there are just too many ;)

- How do you get so much information about real things?
That's our vocalist's task. He's always checking out the news and journals (and of course the internet) about freaky accidents, murders, etc. And it's not like there wouldn't any such shit happen out in the world. We don't live in what you would call happy times, exactly.

- How did embalming theatre get formed?
To keep a long story short: Five knights met at the round table and swore to bring the spirit of old school grindcore back. Haha, no, seriously, E. T. was at first just a sideproject, four of us already played together in a melodic death metal band. For an exchange, we just wanted to do some serious grindcore music, and that's where all started. Only we got such a success with E. T. we never gained with Aeternum, so we kept up with the grindcore stuff.

- Are you planning for any new releases?
Yeah, definitily. We just finished some new songs, have now to practise them a bit and then go to the studios. Also, I think some of the older songs haven't been released yet.

- Are you doing any shows or touring now(I know you are doing that Desserted valley metalday)?
That's right, we'll play at the Deserted valley metalday August the 13th, and also on this year's on the final Mountains of Death festival, August the 19th.
No further gigs are planned yet, though.
